2025 Fellowship Recipients Announced
The PRSA Foundation announced this year's Communications Public Relations Fellowship recipients in May 2025. This fellowship program has been in operation since 2022, and this year marks its fourth year.
Participating PR Agencies
The number of participating PR agencies has increased from six last year to eight this year. Four new agencies have joined the program, while four original partner agencies continue their participation.

2025 Fellowship Recipients
The eight fellowship recipients come from different universities across the United States.
Riva Surana
Arizona State University
Riva Surana from Arizona State University received the highest-funded fellowship from Mission North, with a scholarship of $35,000 plus a $6,000 stipend.

Isabelle Flores from the University of Texas at Austin received the Bliss-Baker fellowship.

Jase Picanso from Western Washington University will intern at Greenough.
Ujunwa Ike
William Paterson University
Ujunwa Ike from William Paterson University was selected by HermesPR.
Lucy Wu
UNC Chapel Hill
Lucy Wu from UNC Chapel Hill will work at LaunchSquad.
Clarissa Holguin
University of Houston
Clarissa Holguin from the University of Houston will join The Key PR in San Francisco.
Victoria Kalala
Emerson College
Victoria Kalala from Emerson College will complete her internship at V2 Communications in Boston.
Program Details
⏱️ Duration
Internship durations range from five to eight weeks, with placements available both remotely and on-site.
📍 Locations
Two positions in Boston, two in New York, two in San Francisco, and two positions can be completed remotely.
📚 Curriculum
The program curriculum was designed by Mission North in 2022. Internship content covers technology communications, digital marketing, media relations, and more.
Application Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
Application requirements vary by agency. The Key PR requires applicants to have a GPA of at least 3.5 and be able to come to the San Francisco office three days a week. V2 Communications requires a GPA of 3.0 or above and three days a week at the Boston office.
Most fellowships are open to students who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). The Key PR also accepts applications from first-generation college students.
ICON 2025 Recognition Ceremony
Fellowship recipients will be honored at the ICON 2025 conference held in Washington, D.C., celebrating their achievements and welcoming them into the public relations profession.
